The
Guildhall Art Gallery is one of the City's best hidden gems.
Over
the centuries
the City of London has amassed an impressive collection
of paintings and sculptures. About 250 of these are on display
in the lovely Art Gallery next to the Guildhall.
The
gallery also contains the remains of London's Roman amphitheatre.
There
are free tours of the highlights of the gallery every Friday.
