Hello and thanks for dropping by!

City of London Sights offers walking tours throughout the City of London.

The City of London is where the capital of England begins.

You will hear tales, facts and entertaining stories about the people and organisations who made it happen. I tailor my walks to suit you. All done in an informal but professional way.

There is almost 2000 years of history starting with the Romans building their bridge and port, through to the Saxons, the Medieval period and the Guilds, the Plague of 1665 and the fires and wars that followed. Everything up to and including the present day can be catered for.

My tours are informative, often amusing, upbeat and very uplifting.

Join me, a qualified City of London guide and associate of the Institute of Tourist Guiding to explore the very heart of London as we wander in and out of the lanes and alleys, past the churches and gardens, along the river, looking at architecture ancient and modern and so much more.

The City of London or ‘Square Mile’  is the very heart of London

Walks take place come rain or shine on weekdays, night time and at weekends and last approximately one and a half hours.

Corporate clients, families, small or large groups are all welcome. (There is no limit on numbers as a second preferred guide can be arranged if the group is over thirty people).

Tour of the cityPlease feel free to contact me to find out when my next walk is happening or to arrange one specially for you.

I also run occasional free tours of the delightful Guildhall Art Gallery and Amphitheatre.

The  Art Gallery is truly a hidden gem within the City! Click here for details.

I will be adding new events and walks throughout the year so please continue to visit this site. In the meantime do have a look around and say hello when you find a walk and tour you’d like to take.
